Nutrition

Nutrition is the cornerstone of human growth, productivity, and resilience. In the Horn of Africa, malnutrition and food insecurity remain pressing challenges impacting children, women, and marginalized populations. Achieving nutrition security requires coordinated, data-driven action across health, agriculture, and social systems.

HPRD delivers applied researah, technical assistance, and policy support for multisectoral nutrition programs. We lead surveys, feasibility studies, and impact evaluations using global standards such as SMART, SQUEAC, and KAP, providing actionable evidence for policy and program design. Our work includes capacity building through specialized trainings in IMAM, MIYCN, CMAM, and Nutrition Surveillance, alongside private-sector linkages and PPP frameworks for sustainable food systems and local enterprise growth.
