Capacity Building and Training
Horn Population Research and Development (HPRD) delivers high-impact, context-specific capacity-building and training solutions across a broad range of sectors, including health, education, agriculture, WASH, governance, gender, peacebuilding, and economic development. Our approach combines experiential, participatory methodologies with sector-specific expertise to empower institutions, communities, and individuals with the skills and tools needed for sustainable transformation. We have successfully trained over 10,000 beneficiaries through tailored programs covering entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital inclusion, climate resilience, and inclusive governance, often linking training with access to finance, mentorship, and market opportunities. Leveraging partnerships with governments, UN agencies, NGOs, and donors such as USAID, GIZ, the World Bank, and others, HPRD ensures that every capacity development initiative is results-driven, inclusive, and aligned with the local context, fostering resilience, institutional strengthening, and lasting social impact.
