Dr. Ahmed Abdi has PhD is a senior early warning systems expert with over 15 years teaching experience in various universities in East and central Africa. He has a M.Sc. in Early Warning Systems from King Fahd University of Environmental Sciences in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has lectured and served as a technical research assistant at the department of meteorology at the same university. Dr. Ahmed is recognized for his novel research on the standards and advancements of environmental water resource quality. His focus on building enabling systems for hydromet data dissemination for enhanced databased policy decision making.
