Save The Children The project implementation covered 10 districts in three regions; seven districts in Bari, one district in Galgadud and two districts in lower Juba with a population catchment of 591,926 with an aim to achieve four outcomes : [i] provide evidence base of innovative solutions to inform replication and advocacy established; [ii] deliver essential Package of Health Services, including nutrition, family planning and reproductive health care to women and children; [iii] strengthen health governance and management structures and [iv] enhance community ownership, accountability and demand for health services. The purpose of the evaluation was: [i] to assess whether the response achieved the desired outcomes, [ii] Identify key lessons learnt and [iii] Produce evidence-based recommendations to inform future programming.
Implementation
A mixed methods approach involving participatory quantitative and qualitative methods was applied in assessing project performance, contextual factors as well as testing of the strength and relevance of the project design across all the cutting evaluation themes/criteria. The evaluation metrics relied on data interpretation and observations to come to make conclusions on the project performance. Implementation Areas: Bari, Galgadud, Juba
